Random Saturday

Can you believe that it is less than 2 weeks until Christmas?
I am always amazed at how the holiday season seems to just zoom by
 once December 1st rolls around.

It has been a wonderful, busy season over here
and a busy week for sure.

This week, my husband and took off for a day of Christmas shopping and a little getaway at a favorite inn in Calistoga.

The wine country is always gorgeous but it was especially pretty this misty morning
with sunshine peeking through the clouds at the vineyards.

After relaxing, we hit the stores and I found just what I was looking for gifts for several on my list... and I might have stopped at Restoration Hardware and found something for myself too. That was marked half price and then another 40% off. Had to do it.

And in blooming news- you aren't going to believe it.
Peonies are on sale for a $5 for 5.

My favorite florist called to tell me to come in and grab some before they were all gone.
So of course, a bundle of them came home. Pinks, whites, even burgundy.
Which means more peony photos coming your way. And I have several styling jobs right now that they are perfect for. Love it when that all lines up.

In Grand Dog news, this guy has been a bit of a stinker lately.
He has been running around like a wild man and waking us up several times in the middle of the night.
Then when we finally get up- he sleeps of course.
Because, he has to get ready to do it all over again the next night.
Good thing he is a cutie (even when he sticks his tongue out at me) ;)

Coming your way this week-
more Christmas of course. I have several more spaces and trees to share.
On the patio, in the cottage, entertaining, vignettes
 and some present wrapping inspiration.
this Kate Spade floral wrap has me a little bit giddy.

And I am in process of uploading a new video
all about decorating the tree in under 1 minute.
How do you do it? A funny little thing called 'time-lapse' ;)
Stay tuned.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start.
