In the kitchen... Copper Love

It is hard to believe that we are already zooming into the holiday season.

Along with all things 'merry & bright'
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and that means a house full of friends
and family, laughter
and a whole lot of cooking and baking going on.

disclosure: I am a Macy's partner but all opinions are my own.

Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that I always looked forward to when I was little.
I remember hopping in the car early in the morning and making the trek to my
grandmothers house.
And I remember walking in and smelling the most amazing food
that she was making.
One of my absolute favorites is Grammy's mashed potato casserole.
Honestly, it is a bit of a sinful dish as it is full of cream cheese, sour cream and garlic-
but we love it so much so that we always double the recipe so that we have some leftovers
and we can rationalize we don't have it all the time so all good right?
;)

Something that was a key tip for her mashed potato recipe-
Grammy always put the potatoes in a bowl and mixed them with her KitchenAid mixer
for several minutes so that they were extra mashed and extra creamy.

I have to say that I am more than mildly obsessed with my mixer
and pretty sure that  amazing copper finish helps the food taste better.
:)
There is just something about copper in a kitchen for me.

Copper has always been one of my absolute favorites
from decorative items like molds and trays
to copper pots in abundance.

Aside from looking amazing- copper is pretty amazing for cooking.
And I do believe every kitchen should have a little bit
of copper love going on.

So, if you are looking for some copper love in your own kitchen
these are the ones I have
and

and they are both on sale right now at Macy's for their 'Friends Giving' sale.
And if those aren't your style -
there are lots of others to choose from.
All Clad Stainless Steel 7 PC + BONUSfor those who prefer stainless
Crux: Airfrier or crockpot are both a perfect gift for those just starting out.

And don't forget to use code BDAY for an extra 15%
off the 30-50% off sale prices.

I am stocking up on a few gifts and just might be adding a couple more pieces for my kitchen
for the baking flurry that is coming quickly.
;)

Happy baking and cooking everyone!!

  3. Courtney, the copper is perfect for your gorgeous new stove! My "chef" has collected copper since before we married. In fact, I spent some time yesterday polishing our copper vent hood and the pots and pans. It's a big job, but just love it when the copper glows. Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving.

  4. I don't have any copper if my own but I used to help my mom shine our Revereware copper pots and pans. It was a fun time where she and I could talk. 😊💕🍁 Love your new Kitchenaid mixer! 🎃 Enjoy it! Makes a whole world of difference in how long it takes to get a cake ready.

  5. Hi Courtney!!

Copper brings a beautiful warmth to a house and at this time of year when we’re heading to cooler temperatures, copper seems to make a house a home. I use to collect copper as a hobby and had as high as 285 pieces. Now I have closer to 20.

Enjoy the rest of your beautiful weekend!!💗💗

  9. Like Shirley, we received copper bottom Revere Ware for a wedding present. I still use and love it, and am wondering why I never polished the copper?? You've inspired me. Thank you! Cynthia
