I just love old shabby, crusty,
rusty treasures…
Sometimes it’s the imperfections and issues that
a piece has that I fall for…
This old galvanized bin charmed me right away.
Dented. Dinged. Rusted..
Yep, It is and I love it.
I love the rusted patina and old worn wooden handles
We found this one at the flea market
it was sitting there looking so cute on a table
and I imagined a half a dozen places I could put it.
It’s perfect for the fireplace for storing wood
and would be beautiful for holding flowers inside the fireplace in the summer
Or maybe it will find a home just sitting atop
the french armoire in my bedroom.
I’m loving it in all it’s rusted glory!
Another find from Junking was a set of
Silver flatware
I love the intricate designs and beautiful details on old silver flatware
and I especially love monogrammed pieces…
After finding a nearly complete set for 8 with Sandy-
I bumped into a big bag of various gorgeous monogrammed pieces
at the Salvation Army.
*LOVE*
I’m so excited that I just might finally have enough pieces
to set a beautiful vintage table for a party I am planning
in a few weeks!
🙂

Courtney, these are great finds. We have had two of these copper wash tubs for almost 30 years. Love them for many things. I keep plants in them most of the time, but at times fill them with ice and drinks for parties outside. I recently saw another at a thrift store and walked away from it. I went back later with the "What was I thinking?" mind set. Of course it was gone!

Hi Courtney…
Oooh…what sweet treasure finds, my friend! Love the patina on the big boiler…and ohhh…the pink roses just look sooo beautiful with it! My honey bought one of those boilers for me several years ago, but mine is made of copper! I love the patina on it as well…it has the green verdigris on it since it's copper. Right now it's sitting next to our wood stove…just waiting to be filled with wood for cooler weather.
And…I also love your monogramed silver! It's gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for sharing your new pretties with us today and thank you for hosting this sweet party!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
