Friday Favorites: Simple summer fabrics for a fresh look

I am a huge fan of long lazy days in hammock,
relaxing by the fire and easy summer home refreshes
that sprinkle a little bit of pretty in about 5 minutes.

Because who has time for a huge overhaul, right?
And I always think lighter and brighter and more simple for summer stylings.

Things like faded denim, soft muted colors and barely there blushing florals are perfection.
When it comes to the bedroom those favorite pretty fabrics start making an appearance early in the season.
And can I just say...
it is hard to believe we are already 3 weeks into July and zooming towards August.
Where in the world has July gone already?

Since it is Friday- and I am at Haven Conference right now-
I am keeping it short and sweet.
And today... it is all about those favorite floral fabrics that I know you love as much as I do.
I get emails and messages about these florals and where to get them all the time- and if you are like me- they will become more than just summer bedding staples because they are that pretty.
You can find this  Duvet collection HERE  (some affiliates)

I like to use the smaller pillow covers on the sofa- these are actually king size in this photo- but if you use a standard sham size-those pillows work perfectly for adding that floral charm.

Another favorite is to mix for a soft look is to mix in a couple of simple white ruffled linen pillows for an easy breezy summer look.

These pillows are from HomeGoods and are favorites for pretty much everywhere.
From the sofa to the bed to the hammock.
And the best part - they are inexpensive. Check the bedding section at HomeGoods- and also the throw pillow section as I have found them mixed in there as well.

In the cottage- a burst of floral goodness with a flower covered duvet
which you can find here

Bringing in a burst of flower power for summer with fabrics is a simple and easy way to change your look in just a few minutes.

Coming your way next week- a peek at a new styling outdoors.

Happy Friday Favorites everyone!

  1. Those roses are so grandma in the best possible way. Timeless, comforting, familial.

  2. I am a total floral nutcase and have had a love for florals since my style began changing to them back when we lived on Camp Pendleton {about 28 years ago now}. These new sheets you have are calling hard... Might have to cave in! 💕
Sincerely trying to be good {and not spend big money ~ working to pay off bills}, So hard! 😆
