Frosted branches and sprinkles of Christmas have been appearing
around the house.
And with Christmas carols playing
and all things Merry & Bright…
it is definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas over here.
And can I let you in on a secret?
I am obsessed with this tree.
As in OBSESSED with this tree.
Well… okay…
make that obsessed with this tree and my bedroom tree.
Those sugar sprinkled frosty branches
dotted with blush, mercury glass and white ornaments
and a whole lot of twinkly lights.
It is love.
And serious obsession.
This is our living room tree this year
and you can probably tell that some things have been moving around a bit out here as well…
(and I am also obsessed with that antique mirror!)
I wanted something simple and elegant and sprinkled with magic and wonder.
The past couple of years, I have had a green tree in the living room
but this year… well that frosted tree talked to me.
I wanted something simple and elegant and sprinkled with magic and wonder.
The past couple of years, I have had a green tree in the living room
but this year… well that frosted tree talked to me.
This is a frosted fraser fir tree from Balsam Hill.
Those soft snowy white branches are just such a perfect backdrop for any ornaments
but especially soft, elegant ones.
I kept the decor on this tree simple
because, in my opinion
frosted and flocked trees do not need a ton of decor –
they look pretty just twinkling away on their own.
So just a few French Country blush baubles and pearly glittery picks
and a couple lengths of glittered ribbon tucked here and there and it was perfect.
For the tree skirt, a faux fur blanket was a perfect tree skirt for a bit of that rustic
luxe feeling.
With those frosty branches
elegant ornaments and twinkly lights…
this tree absolutely glows.
And did I mention that I am obsessed?
😉
Yes, I am.
But in the best way.
🙂

That mirror is seriously pretty and you just gave me an idea. Do you have it attached to the wall?
Your tree is beautiful. But they all are beautiful. Kind of like children, each special in its own way.

Haha!! I love that!! And I totally agree!! They are just like children and each special in their own way. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by! xo

The tree is gorgeous, I've not though that a simply white pearl shaded tree could look as much festive as a traditional red vintage ornament tree.
Well it's just the try of trying something else.

Thanks so much Michael!
It does kind of look like it is gold haha! In the daylight it is definitely white but when it is glowing away in the evening and is that warm candle color glow – I can defiitely see the Midas touch. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you too!!
