Bits and sprinkles of autumn are starting to appear all through the house…
Little pumpkins, chunky cabbages and pretty little fall colored blooms
yes, please.
Today I am taking you on a quick tour to share some of the autumn
that has started to appear in the house.
Just a sprinkling…
because in between the renovation projects
and the Christmas trees that are already up…
the house is feeling a bit
wild and crazy as is.
And so excited to be joining these amazing bloggers today
who are also sharing autumn at their homes
Welcome!!
This year I am sticking with mostly natural for autumn.
With lots and lots of white pumpkins in the house.
In the living room- I kept is super simple.
Just the coffee table and the mantel.
On the coffee table- a simple vignette
with succulents in an urn and pumpkins.
I am more than a little obsessed with this plant.
I believe it is a sedum but not sure.
On the mantel- a bit romantic and sweet for the softer side of autumn.
White pumpkins, blooms and gilding- makes me happy-
I will share a closer look at this mantel soon.
Most of my season decor is fairly simple and natural.
(okay- other than Christmas which I am a complete and total nut for)
And sometimes, it isn’t much decor at all.
Maybe just the warmer colors that speak to me
like a gray and blush bedroom
a baby boo in the bathroom…
or something as simple as a bucket of hydrangeas on the dining table.
A couple favorites for autumn – brass and copper.
Love all those warm elegant tones mixed in
and especially with soft and subtle (and definitely non-traditional)
colors and flowers.
And of course, lots of candles
and twinkle lights for ambiance
Thanks so much for stopping by today- and
don’t forget to stop by and see what my friends are sharing as well
Happy Thursday everyone!

I love all the white pumpkins. I am not an orange person myself, so I always prefer to use white and green pumpkins in my fall decor. I think that the Sedum in your urn is called Autumn Joy and it looks gorgeous with the pumpkins. Thanks for sharing your beautiful fall touches and for hosting Feathered Nest Friday.

Creative, tasteful touches for autumn. I must make more of an effort to have seasonal decor in our home other than the usual bunches of flowers. xxx
