Heat oven to 350. In large bowl, break up the cookie dough and knead in the flour. Form dough into balls and roll in chopped pecans. Place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown and remove from oven. Using a spoon- press into each cookie top to create a little 'thumbprint'. Set aside and cool cookies.
Unwrap and melt caramels with water -stirring until the caramels are melted and smooth and creamy.
Spoon 1 tsp of caramel mixture onto each cookie and cool for 10-15 minutes.
Melt chocolate chips and drizzle on top of each cookie and sprinkle with a bit of sea salt.
