Sometimes while relaxing in the evenings, I take notice of the way that the light casts a glow and how magical the light mixed with shadows seems.
Maybe it is the way that the fireplace flames flickering away seem to be dancing across the floor
or brick patio.
Or that the copper mugs pick up the warm glow from the flames and send the warmth off in several directions and the simple DIY screen candle lanterns light the steps just perfectly.
Out in the apple orchard- those pretty string lights add just the perfect touch of ambiance
as they light up the fire pit area.
And in the bedroom, where I have been known to climb into bed early to get some work done by soft lamp light…a brand new lamp ( that I am majorly crushing on)
glows warmly from a shade that is decadently lined in gold.
I am mildly obsessed with that gorgeous blush color on the lamp and shade and it is definitely something you will be seeing much more of soon. Serious. Love.
From simple string lights, to candles on the table to the soft glow from a lamp or fire- I have to say that the evening light is a favorite view for photography and for relaxing and enjoying.
And it definitely seems to inspire in different ways as well.
Just a simple round up of evening views as I gear up to share the brand new look on the patio
and you will be seeing much more of that table setting set by candlelight soon. 😉
