All things Merry & Bright and elegant today. For our 8th Tree in this years 12 Trees of Christmas- I am sharing a French Inspired Christmas Tree- our living room tree. One that glows so beautifully in the corner of the living room, is dotted with elegant ornaments in shades of whites and golds, beaded feathers and dainty blue velvet ribbons. Which all together – feels very French to me.
French Inspired Christmas Tree
I am joining my friend Jen’s Holiday Housewalk today- you can start the whole tour here at Jen Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk and if you are coming over from Annie’s beautiful house- Welcome– welcome!
This year the living room tree is all about elegance and a bit of an old fashioned charm.
French Christmas Tree Gilded Beauty
Layers of gold baubles in different shades and finishes and delicate beaded ornaments were the starting point for this tree. I am in love with how the different shimmers and shades all go together so beautifully.
I mixed a few vintage ornaments in for a whimsical touch. These velvet and ribbon egg ornaments
and I also found a bag full of vintage plastic glitter birds and placed them on the tree as well.
Ribbons and Pearls
Ribbons and pearls and beaded beauty on repeat. One of my favorite things about this tree are the beaded feathers- beyond beautiful.
The feathers add so much elegance and shimmer- and the chunky pearl garlands are perfect tucked in here and there on the tree.
Shimmer and Shine Vintage Style
The star of the ornaments on the tree are these beautiful 1920’s inspired ornaments that are so delicate and elegant. From beading to a shimmery finish- the tree feels like it is covered in glamour and beauty.
And the faded blue velvet ribbons add a soft romantic touch.
And the crowing finish on this tree is this gorgeous beaded star topper.
