It is the season for al fresco dining and entertaining. And that means it is also one of my favorite times of the year. If you have followed along for awhile you already know I am slightly obsessed with setting a beautiful table out under the stars- and for this spring table setting, we added a little something extra to mix it up a bit.

Florals on repeat
Flowers marching down the center of a table are always a good thing. And something different with this table are the florals on the table, above the table and in the background for this table setting.
Marseille Meadow arrangements
I started with these Marseille Meadow arrangements from Balsam Hill. These are actually part of a collection that I designed for them so they are some of my favorites of course. What I love about them is the abundance of greenery that is included- and on repeat on the table they create a charming centerpiece that is not too tall to interfere with conversations.

I used 3 of them and placed candles in between for ambiance.
Floral above
I also added a garland above- my daughter suggested we give the overhead floral installation we had been talking about doing a try with this table. It was so easy – we simply attached the garland to the string lights – I love how it hangs down just enough to add a whole lot of ambiance and charm.

Florals in the background
You might recognize these flowers that are in the background. They are the wedding florals that we brought home and repurposed for this setting. For the barrel arrangements, we placed a garland around on top of the barrel and placed a centerpiece just inside for a little height. You could also easily use a wreath in place of the garland for a similar look.

Layers of Lovely
The key is simply to have the flowers in layers for a beautiful elegant and custom look. I love how they add so much lovely to such a simple setting.

What do you think of how this table with the layers of flowers turned out?

Your tables are beautiful. I love the way you use a garland as a centerpiece and around the string lights. Brilliant ambiance. Thank you for these suggestions!
