A little bit natural and a little bit cozy was the look I had in mind for our autumn porch this year. I wanted something simple and full of natural touches & lots of ambiance- without a lot of fuss.
So I bought out my go to favorites. Stacks of pretty pumpkins in that soft muted muddy color & lanterns with flickering candles.

I added a few mums to the window boxes for a bit of autumn color.

Cornstalks are always chatting my language during fall. Something about the soft faded color they have that speaks to my golden fields loving heart.

By the front door, they create a simple welcome – and inspired me to create a door arrangement that tied them all together.

A simple ribbon tied arrangement created with dried flowers and grasses. I used hollyhock stalks, dried gypsophila, pampas grass & a few oak branches and tied them together with a burnished orange velvet ribbon.

This door is ready for a few updates- we have to tinker with the framing after fining an issue and are also updating the hardware to the correct one. I will share the new look soon. And stay tuned for a round up a few tips for simple tips for autumn decorating & a bit of a fun Halloween look too.

Don’t miss all the pretty porches that my Seasons of Homes friends are sharing below too. Happy Sunday all.

Could you please tell me the name of the company from which you bought the kit for your “barn”? It’s lovely and I am hoping to purchase a similar kit for our lot. Thank you.
