I am sharing each day of the yard sale and GMC/HABITAT project this week
and Friday proved to have some of the best finds yet!
Awesome chairs…$20 each
Awesome landscapes
Liz Marie and a crazy chicken
There were yard sales at amazing houses all along the road
There were fantastic barns
Lots of great stuff to be found at this sale
This bed- amazing.
One of my favorites- old door pieces
We even found an old GMC vehicle
A quick dinner and then back to the hotel for a little painting in the dark with the sound of cicadas in the background. Yeah, there were a lot of them and they creep me out just a bit.
Off for day 4 today and then tomorrow the big day of
setting up in the house and the reveal to the family!
Happy Saturday!
Oh, my! I saw so many things I would love. We are removing the sofa bed in our guest room and putting in a real bed. Oh, how I would love one of those red frames.
Oh my all the great stuff – looks like you gals found some amazing things. Can hardly wait to see the home all decorated.
Happy hunting.

Thanks for letting us come along on your amazing adventure.
What a fun trip Courtney! Thanks for taking us along!
I think we are all a bit envious of your stamina, your trip and your finds, but what a great project to help with. I do hope you have room to put a 'goodie' or two away for yourselves to take home. OR to have some shipped home….that's an idea! Vicki in KY.
I would like to buy everything! Maybe it's a good thing I'm not there with you.
Thanks for sharing all these wonderful old pieces with us. I'm in awe of the iron beds, old linen, the blue rounded hutch and more. I can't wait to see the house finished. Hope you get to get a few things for yourself.
Wow, great stuff and I bet it was amazing seeing the family's faces yesterday!!
