Ahhhh High Point Market… you are always so inspiring.
It was a whirlwind kind of trip to High Point last week.
After a day in L.A. with my Lamps Plus family- I headed off to North Carolina to
High Point Market for the Design Bloggers Tour.
This trip was super quick this time – but no less inspiring as always.
I always love Market for so many reasons- and it never fails to inspire me in different ways.
Today I am sharing a quick peek at the showrooms we visited on day one of the tour- and will share favorites in another post.
Universal Furniture
Universal always has the most charming ‘rooms’ in their showroom- and some of the most interesting pieces that catch my eye.
This silver buffet with embossed birds was one of them.
And this table had the most gorgeous weathered wood top that I absolutely fell in love with.
Such a pretty and unique idea- I love it.
2. Karastan
I am a big fan of something lovely underfoot- and we visited several showrooms that were all about beautiful carpets.
I love this one at Karastan that feels so old world and vintage.
And this one that was such a unique and fresh pop of color and idea.
#3. Michael Dawkins Home
A new to me showroom that was full of drama.
I love these chairs and how pretty that black and white composition is.
And these- so pretty.
#4. Bungalow 5
Bungalow 5 was speaking my language with these gorgeous blush chairs.
I love the frame style with the pretty blush leather seats.
And this ‘branch’ chair is amazing.
#5. Bernhardt Furniture
I always love to wander through the Bernhardt showroom.
So many beautiful pieces and vignettes that inspire me.
And something I noticed that I will be chatting more about- the gorgeous dusty lavender trend we were seeing. Loved this room too.
#6. Exquisite Rugs
Exquisite rugs really did have some of the most exquisite rugs-
I love the soft colors of this one.
And this chunky texture talked to me soooo much.
I am thinking I might be ordering one.
#7. Rene Cazares with Crypton
It was all about the details at Rene Cazares- like this chair with the intricate stitching patterns and Crypton fabric to keep everything looking beautiful all the time. If you aren’t familiar- Crypton is a fabric that resists stains- so good.
And this was another detail I loved-
the back of this sofa with the panels that almost resemble a wainscot treatment.
#8. Sunbrella
Sunbrella isn’t just for outdoors- they have a gorgeous line up of amazing performance fabric for indoors as well. So that fabric that can handle the weather- can handle the indoor spills and stains too.
And can look good while doing it.
#9. Adriana Hoyos
Another new to me showroom was Adriana Hoyos. I thought this sofa with the built in bookcase on the back was so unique and interesting. Perfect for if you don’t have a lot of space for a traditional sofa console table.
Up next- Day two of the Design Bloggers tour- which was full of more inspiration.
And then a peek at an always on repeat showroom- Eloquence and another fav- Ave Home.
And then it is all about my favorites and the trends we noticed.
Lots more coming you way soon.
Happy Wednesday everyone.
Disclosure:
I was compensated to attend High Point Market and share the DBC Tour with you-but all opinions are my own

So happy to see what it's like at the High Point Market! I always wanted to go. I loved the first picture with that silver mirror. It does appear they are trying to bring gold back, just as I had fully embraced silver. Lol. I really liked the sofa with the panels that almost resemble a wainscot treatment. Very nice detail. Looking forward to seeing what you'll share with us in the coming days!

Such beautiful pieces you found, Courtney! I'm glad you had a fun time at High Point Market. I certainly enjoyed my visit last fall. Oh, Adriana Hoyos was the wonderful designer who found my lost phone! Lol!! Pinned several photos for our readers.
Happy market days,
Barb 🙂
