Christmas has been sprinkled almost all through the house…
Almost…. 😉
From fresh garlands and pretty twinkling trees
to baubles and sprigs of greenery here and there.
And today we are taking a peek into the living room to show some of the Christmas cheer
that has appeared with HomeGoods.
From pretty little glittered deer on the mantel that remind me of the ones my grandmother had
To pretty little baubles that I walked by and spotted on an end cap that were a must.
But do you want to know where the inspiration for this styling came from?
A pair of the most amazing velvet pillows…
The softest shade of pale gray green and yes, they absolutely jumped from the shelf
and landed into my cart- top and bottom- because they were that incredible.
These are a very well known and usually very expensive designer…
but were a steal at HomeGoods.
The soft pale color completely set the scene for the color scheme in the living room.
Those green mercury glass baubles were perfect on the table with a vase of flowers.
The vase- which is like a vintage french style vase was another HG find.
Check your kitchen areas if you are looking for them-
it is nearly identical to some of the antique French glass jars I have.
Lots of candles on the table for ambiance and warm flickering Christmas lights in the evening.
A must this season- Creme Brulee candles in a big white jar.
I would have bought 10 of them if they had them.
😉
One of my favorite finds was a gold metal sign for the tree.
I bought one last season for the mantel
but was excited to find another this season for the tree.
And remember that chunky throw on the sofa?
Under the tree…
you will find a second chunky knit blanket doing
double duty as a tree skirt.
These throws are amazing.
They are thick and chunky and just make you want to wrap up
and get cozy.
And it does a perfect job under the tree as a tree skirt since it is oversized.
A couple aqua and gold wrapped presents and it is a ‘wrap’.
More of our Christmas living room – including this a couple new rooms
never.before.seen. on the blog (how is that even possible after how many years of blogging?!)
and don’t miss any of my amazing friends sharing their living rooms as well.

Very very pretty. A perfect soft quiet Christmas look which is my favorite. My husband loves the bright reds the more the better. I think we need two trees! I am wondering if the old fashioned ornaments from Balsam Trees is brighter than in your pictures?
