I was asked recently on FB if I would be able to offer up some ideas
for wedding table inspirations.
Ideas that had a bit of shabby, romantic touches.
I thought it sounded like a fun idea for a series and so
am working on that over the next couple weeks.
So today~ I am starting with a snippet of an outdoor table setting I am working on.
It’s only a snippet because I am staying indoors trying to help sinus issues with
all the insane amount of wind blowing the pollen all.over.the.place.
:-/
So, I will share the full outdoor table soon.
One of my favorite things to do is to place a little bouquet at each setting at the table.
In silver goblets or dainty little glasses- love them.
Lately, I have been drawn to using simple jars and picked some of these cuties up
while at the store the other day~ I think they were around $8
These are just so sweet.
For the bouquets~ they are just little quilted canning jars
tied with a strand of burlap
and filled with spray roses and cute white poms
I love that the jars came with these darling labels too
Perfect for adding a name to a place setting for a shower or luncheon
and then the guests can take their sweet little bouquets home as a party treat.
So planning on doing this for my next Summer dinner party.
🙂
Especially since these are $4 spray roses and small jars- you don’t need a lot of flowers
for a lot of charm- just a few snipped short enough to fill the jars.

A set of new flatware that looks collected is perfect.
I love the vintage look they have.
Darling pale pink floral napkins are a sweet compliment to them.
They didn’t start out this way- more on those soon.
Loving simple and soft romantic touches for this table
especially when thinking of weddings or showers or just
an everyday brunch with friends.

I saw the picture on pinterest first and I just loved the bouquet. You certainly have a way with setting a table from small to large. The amount of roses you must buy each week.
Courtney says
Some weeks more than others 🙂 These are actually just the $4 spray roses from the grocery store. Planning on doing a post about grocery store flowers sometime since I get so many questions about how to find them 🙂

Courtney, love this idea! I'm going to use it for my next dinner party with girl friends. The little quilted jars add a nice touch. Those roses are beautiful and really make a statement.

Those roses are gorgeous! That pink is so delicate. I have a rose bush that blooms in May and they are that color…I just love them! Like the inside of a conch shell ! The pollen is awful here…makes my throat raw…..can't wait to see the whole table!
