Happy Random Saturday & Valentines day everyone!
I am busy busy busy this weekend in a pile of projects
but this morning I took a few minutes and photographed a couple
romantic inspiration photos for Valentines Day
while sipping on my coffee and waking up.
Sweet Nothings
Kind of crushing on these spray roses mixed with last weeks stock.
So simple but perfectly romantic- and $4 instead of triple priced for the big day.
I know not everyone celebrates Valentines Day.
I am kind of an all year long romantic so we don’t do too much on Valentines Day
but I do like to pick up a couple cardboard heart shaped boxes
filled with chocolates for my kids.
My favorites are those cute little tiny ones with the little animals and goofy sayings on them.

Last week was a high heels, lipstick and tool belt wearing kind of week.
There is just something about enjoying my morning coffee
to the smell of fresh cut lumber and projects going on in the house.

More about that project will be coming up in the next few weeks but in case you are wondering, yes, I have been known to do DIY projects in my heels or wedges.
But once I had to start climbing up and down on the stool over and over again
for this project- my trusty Nikes came out- remember- safety first.

Though, the lipstick stayed on for the whole project.

Yes, another cheesecake recipe.
No, I am not trying to ruin your diet. Really.
But as I was searching through my older Valentines posts
I bumped into this one from last year and yep, it was amazing.
Just in case you are looking for a last minute Valentines treat
or have a major chocolate craving.

Welcome Spring
There is nothing like beautiful blooms to add a touch of Spring
and potted tulips in a vintage wooden box is one of my favorite easy ways.
Over at HomeGoods, I am sharing a few ideas on ways to use potted blooms
for a burst of Spring

Cottage Garden charm
A cottage garden is one of those romantic storybook things in my book and I love
that they are always filled with overgrown flowers
and maybe a few interesting elements like an old statue or bicycle.
You might be surprised at what I paid for this old bicycle for my garden.
It is probably not what you think.

Love your random thoughts – all are very cheerful and inspiring. I am ready for spring.
Lol… love this post. As a girl who does everything in heels, I especially loved that comment. But even more than that… the lipstick! When I gave birth, I had a c-section, so it was very quick, and the big joke in the delivery room was that my lipstick was still on after the birth… 😉 Love girls who get things done with lipstick on!!
Love it all! So ready for spring 🙂
How does one find you on eBay or Etsy? 🙂
Hi there- if you click over to Ebay you will see the post about the bicycle and there you will find my name- FrenchCountryCottages- and be able to click to follow. Thank you!! 🙂
Such beautiful photos, Courtney! Love your style always 🙂 Happy Valentine's Day…a day late 🙂
Your photos are delicious! I think I gained a few pounds just looking at them :0)! Thank you for sharing! Have a great week!
Smiles!
