Happy weekend everyone.

It is hard to believe that it is already September and that all things Autumn are quickly approaching.

This long weekend, we aren’t going to picnics or parties or to the lake for some relaxing.

I have a list 2 miles long to start checking off in getting ready for the upcoming holiday posts and entertaining.

But last week, I took off and played hooky a bit…

at the beach.

Sea air, wind in my hair, sand in between my toes and a whole lot of sunshine

and doing nothing.

Which was exactly what I wanted to do.

And exactly what I would love to be doing again right about now.

My husband went to the store for fresh produce for dinner- and also found something pretty.

He knows me well.
