I am all about simple & sweet this year.
Like a beautiful white tree dotted with blush & silver ornaments
and sprinkled with an abundance of romantic charm.
Christmas is a bit of a this and that this year.
While I am decorating for Christmas… I am also styling for my book
and physically working to wrap up the kitchen renovations- FINALLY.
So with so much swirling around- I will admit, I am feeling a bit softer
and more subdued with Christmas decor this year.
And thinking I might only put up one tree.
What? You don’t believe it?
I always do Christmas all through the house with like a dozen twinkling trees?
Okay… you know me too well.
I am totally joking about just the one tree.
I literally already have almost 10 of them up and decorated
and the Holiday Housewalk tour post is coming your way this week.
😉
Though- I will admit- definitely have been leaning
towards a lighter softer side decor wise-
and bringing in a whole lot of natural elements
to round things out.
Things like fresh eucalyptus and dried roses tied with ribbons
and pretty barely blushing peonies with cedar.
I am obsessed with the smell of these in the bedroom.
I am also obsessed with the most amazing chunky knit blankets that were
part of the inspiration for my bedroom decor this year.
This chunky blush throw knocked my socks off when I found it.
And yes… I used it as a tree skirt because the color was absolute perfection for my
blush and white theme.
The other blanket was this amazing knit merino wool blanket
that is so cozy on the bed.
It is the softest shade of creamy white
Over on the mantel…
a sneak peek- and
you will see more coming your way
And don’t forget to stop by and visit each of my farmhouse friends
and see their beautiful bedrooms today.
And thank you to Birch Lane for sponsoring our tour today- you can shop the look and find the items I used to style this room here:
(some affiliates)
And stay tuned for a look at the living room coming your way tomorrow- and a home tour on Wednesday with a closer look at the ornaments on this tree.
Happy Sunday everyone.

Courtney, I love the blush shade you are using in your decor. Can you tell me where I should look for tree ornaments that color?
Courtney says
These are the French Country Ornaments from Balsam Hill. They are a blush mercury glass. I have a coupon code on my Christmas Tree post from Monday if that helps. 🙂
