Weekend view
Welcome to the ranunculus filled weekend view. It is all about simple and sweet flowers, spring sunshine on the way and a grand baby saying ‘grandna’ for the first time today.
Ranunculus
Pretty little clay pots of ranunculus? Yes, please.
The other day my husband brought home several pots of ranunculus from the local grocery store- and so, it was off to the potting shed for a few clay pots. 3 pots of bold pink and 3 pots of creamy whites. And after potting a few of them, he placed a few on the table in the dining room for me to play with.
I thought he did a mighty fine job with styling them. The vintage inspired clay pots. A trio which is always a good number and of course, the colors. He is hired. haha.
Spring Sunshine
It seems to finally be on the way folks. After another rainy day yesterday, we have sunshine and warm temperatures in the forecast for a couple of days before it gets chilly again. We are hoping that also means that some of the plants that have not taken off and bloomed already as they usually would – just may be able to catch up and bloom even so. I will keep you posted!
Transferware
Truth be told- the red transferware has been in the cupboard since Christmas. Though I have been meaning to swap it for a different look, I have not done it yet.
But, those ranunculus inspired me to play a bit – stay tuned for a different look soon.
Gand-na
We are getting ready for an early Easter dinner with the kids and baking and getting little basket treats ready for the babies is on the agenda for the morning. And the other day when FaceTiming with Juliette in the morning she grabbed the phone and said ‘Grandna’ several times. Melted my heart!
Easter Weekend
Of course, I am behind on sharing a few things for Easter this year. Between the chaos with the weather and a sinus infection – I have been moving a bit slow. But for inspiration for Easter or spring celebrations- you can find more here:
I hope you all have a beautiful sunshine filled Easter weekend.

Spring has finally sprung. Yesterday while gardening, I noticed the Lilacs are in bloom! It makes one almost forget about our winter!
Grand-Na, how exciting. I can’t wait til our little Mabel says her version of Grammy and Grandpy.
