Welcome to the weekend view. This week was full of farmers market flowers, dahlias, vintage finds and early morning walks.
Early Morning View
My husband is always up early-early in the mornings. A lasting effect from the military and years in law enforcement. He goes out early to get a bit of hill climbing exercise in and I usually sleep in about an hour and a half longer than him and get up around 6-6:30 but last week, I decided to set my alarm and get up early and get moving. Once it was light enough, I went out and got some miles in while the sun was rising. A beautiful way to start the day.
Farmers Market Flowers
So enjoying the farmers market flowers this week. I picked up a few bunches of them earlier in the week and have been enjoying the pop of pretty colors in the house.
Stay tuned for a few vintage finds as well- more about that green bench and a lovely chair.
Dahlias in the Garden
The dahlias in the garden are blooming away- and some of them are pretty big this year. This is a dinner plate dahlia that we planted a couple of years ago- bigger than my hand and so beautiful.
Christmas Book Countdown
Just a few weeks until my Christmas book releases on August 29th and I have a lot of fun planned for the launch week and the holiday season this year! I am going to start sharing a few behind the scenes snippets here too. If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy yet- you can order a signed copy in my shop or make sure you grab your copy HERE (or click the photo below)

Your early morning walks sound delightful. Do you ever encounter any “critters” when you are walking in the woods?
