Weekend View

Welcome to the weekend view. This week has been all about celebrating Enzo’s birthday, autumn, Halloween and some flower stylings for a special project.

Happy Birthday Enzo!

This sweet boy turned 1 recently and we enjoyed celebrating his birthday at family dinner. He is such a cutie pie and character.

Already talking up a storm and taking steps so will be running before we know it. Something so cute – he loves music and when it comes on, he starts to bounce to it. His dad used to play drums when he was younger- so he just might be a musician too.

Eclipse

Did you get to see the eclipse this morning? We were supposed to be able to see it- but alas, it was cloudy and so it got darker but that was about all we could see.

In a fun side note- the Avion has been doubling as a flower shop this week- holding all the mums for a special styling. If we leave them outside the fenced garden area- the deer will enjoy every bit of their flowers in a snap and we need to get them photographed before that happens.

Spooky Stylings

My daughter and I worked on a spooky styling this week and it was so much fun. All those moody colors and lighting created a beautiful setting. We also did a bit of a candlestick project to add even more spooky charm- I will share more about that process soon but here is a quick screenshot from a video we are working on.

New Floral Totes & Signed Books Gifts

After waiting and waiting for the orders to finally arrive- the boxes of linens are all finally coming in over the next 2 weeks. The first to arrive was a box of our latest floral tote bags. We decided on 3 different vintage floral prints for this order.

a lovely Rambling English Rose, Vintage floral bouquets and ribbons and a blushing ditsy peony print.

I am in love with how they turned out and as well as offering them individually, we are bundling the totes with a signed copies of my Christmas book for a special gift.

The totes and signed books are currently ON SALE in my shop through Tuesday -supplies are limited. The books come wrapped in paper and tied with twine and are perfect tucked inside a tote for a ready to go gift. Go grab a couple for gifts while they are on sale!

Coming your way

We have so much fun coming your way! A spooky table setting and barn decor. Flower filled pumpkins project and we are gearing up for some Merry & Bright coming soon too! Next weekend, we are heading to Texas for a book signing at Round Top Antiques show. I will share more about the confirmed times- but it is on Sunday morning so if you are in the area- I would love to meet you.

Shopping finds this week: I just ordered the coziest sweater from Amazon- and liked it so much I ordered a second one. If you are looking for an oversized warm fuzzy sweater- you might love it too. I ordered in black and lilac- so pretty.
