Welcome to the weekend view. Can you believe it is already the last weekend in September? We have beautiful warm weather and sunshine so it feels like summer yet- but autumn is definitely in the air.
Santa Cruz Fun
We took a quick trip over to Santa Cruz last week to celebrate a birthday and take the grand babies to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was a fun filled couple of days and the babies had a whole lot of fun discovering all the sea creatures.
Autumn Sunshine at the Beach
The beach in autumn is always so beautiful. We enjoyed soaking up some of that sunshine and relaxing just a bit before getting on the road to explore Nisene Marks redwood trails.
Family Day Fun
We had a fun time with all the kids up at our place for family day this week. Lots of goats and chickens love and wagon rides.
House Hunting
We are helping our sons with a little house hunting right now and have been taking a look at fixers that might be good possibilities. Gets me pretty excited to be honest. I love something with good potential! We drove out to see a couple of them this weekend and have a few more to explore that are on the list.

I hope you ENJOYED your visit in santa cruz! I was born here and it’s been my hometown all my life. Your visit coincided with the first bold showing of autumn. You would love a local ANTIQUE store called WISTERIA- close by in soquel. Maybe Plan to see it next time.
