Welcome to the weekend view.
We have been away from home this past week to help with family in need out of state. We are laying low this weekend. We came back home with some aches and pains and a whole lot of lack of sleep so are laying low this time change weekend and catching up. We did find a bit of time early morning and early evenings to enjoy walking through fall foliage and a quaint little town so I will share a post about that next week. For now, it is just a bit of the randomness from the past couple of weeks.
Fa-la-la
Christmas is in the house! Before we left the house hit the road, I started decking the halls and we have the first decorated tree up in the living room. I am ready to start dressing the mantels and staircase next and then onto the next tree. This year, I am keeping it simple after the whirlwind of Christmas book trees last year but I do have a couple of themes I am working with and am excited to share. Stay tuned for a full share on the first twinkling tree coming your way tomorrow.

Thrifting Treasures
I am getting ready to share the next Thrifting Treasures- Love it or Leave it and I think you are really going to like this one. It is a bit bold and yes, beautiful. Though it needs a bit of work yet- I will be sharing the Before and the In Between.
Birthday Boy
Sweet Enzo turned the big 2 a few weeks ago and we enjoyed celebrating his birthday with all kids of family fun. We bought him a tool station since he loves to use hammers and drills and watching bulldozers is one of his favorite things. He is the sweetest little guy and such a good big brother to his new baby sister too.

Pretty Little Table Moments
I set a simple table under the oak recently inspired by one of our ruffled check tablecloths. A gathering of garden blooms mingling with dried flowers and some thrifted pieces for the table top were perfect. I will share a closer look at this soon- but the Mulberry Gingham Tablecloths are currently On Sale in our shop if you are looking for a lovely cloth for your Thanksgiving table. Shop HERE

Book Signing
We are gearing up for a couple of book signings this holiday season and the first one is next Saturday- November 9th from 11am-2pm at THE SPOTTED COW VINTAGE in Martinez, California. You might remember this little antique shop – we did a signing there last year as well and we had such fun. I will have all 3 of my books available for purchase for you and for gifts. If you are local to the SF Bay Area- come say hello! Would love to see you!
And if you are not local or able to get to a signing- we also have signed copies of my books available in the shop as well. SHOP BOOKS

See you tomorrow for the first twinkling tree of the season! Happy Sunday everyone.
