This week has been full of busy stuff- like shopping stops, house work, book signing planning and renovation details. We are getting ready to tackle another project in the house- stay tuned for more on that in the coming weeks.
Book Signing Planning
We are planning a few book signings coming up- right now we have a couple in California in September, one in the works for Tennessee and possibly Texas. We are open to jumping in and doing a few more if my schedule allows a couple more quick trips- where should we go? Would love your suggestions!

And currently IN BLOOM is on sale Get 3 Books for the price of 2- which makes them about $23 each. A great time to grab some early Christmas gifts!

Shopping Halloween
We stopped in at HomeGoods recently and couldn’t believe all the halloween that was on the shelves already. While I am over here in Christmas in July- my daughter is in full Halloween decorating mode. She found this spooky candelabra & pumpkin basket while I was looking at dried flowers. We are definitely a bit seasonally confused here. I will admit that along with some elements I needed for a couple of upcoming stylings for summer- I did bring home a pair of terracotta pumpkins -so it begins!

House Work
Oh you know how it goes, one project or update in one spot leads to 27 more. We are notching off a couple projects that have been on the to-do list and when that happens, there are always a couple more that come to mind. Currently it is about refreshing with paint in the kitchen and living room- the bathroom ceiling and entry are next. Oh the fun of painting overhead- but it always looks so good when it is done.

Babysitting Day Fun
We watched our baby J’s last week- Juliette, Jionni and Jiovanni kept us busy while their parents went out for a little date. Dates when you have young kids often look like getting stuff done- they went to lunch and then to shopping and a hair appointment. They had fun playing in their pool, double dipping on popsicles while dancing and playing ball in the playroom to beat the heat.

The husband and I also went to a farm community street fair that evening and had fun looking at the baby goats wearing diapers. So cute.

Coming Your Way
I recently scored a couple great finds that I haven’t shared here yet – they involve the great outdoors and a lovely little spot. Stay tuned for a peek at those next week.
Also coming your way- my summer style checklist. This is something you have asked about many times and so I am putting together some essentials lists for summer style (and then autumn style, etc.)
And a peek at the behind the crazy of another one of the book photoshoots for In Bloom. It might involve a couple of vintage pieces and a lot of fun.
Happy Weekend friends.
