Welcome to the weekend view…
This week it is all Christmas all the time-all about my trip to Baltimore for an event and book signing with my Balsam Hill family & an event coming up in Paso Robles at Hammersky Vineyards that you won’t want to miss!
I can’t believe it is ALREADY November 10th.
I know I say it every year but this year- really has zoomed by. I feel a bit like I have been the Tasmanian devil swirling up dust clouds for the past few months. Truth be told- I love to be busy and thrive on that busy and deadlines schedule but boy has it zoomed by this year!
This week, I had a bit of extra downtime while traveling to Baltimore for a fun event with Balsam Hill. There were quite a few storms on Halloween that completely shut down the airports in the area- which meant we circled for about an hour and a half- and then detoured to Detroit for refueling and a pilot change. Thankfully- we arrived in Baltimore safe and sound when they reopened all the airports and an unexpected bonus of spending several extra hours with other restless travelers- we all chatted and chatted. And I really enjoyed all of the (very early) morning conversations on the plane.
And something else that those extra hours were great for? I typed up a whole lot of 2020 notes and plans that I am excited to share more about soon.
TV Chatter
After a quick nap at my hotel-and a half a pot of coffee ( I kid you not haha) I was off to a local T.V. station to do a segment on Christmas decorating. I brought along the new gilded magnolia wreath and we decorated it with faux flowers- and chatted non traditional Christmas trends. Always so fun to chat decorating and Balsam Hill on tv.
It was SO fun to meet so many of you who traveled from near and far to come say hello and get your books signed.
We decorated a tree, I did a few tutorials for those who had questions- and I did my best ‘Brad ribbon’ attempt. Brad is an amazing Christmas designer who does the trees for the Balsam Hill catalog- those incredible trees with all that incredible ribbon- Brads work.

That all sounds so fun – can't wait to see how you decorate the farmhouse! And sure – I take wreaths around with me all the time – no problem! 🙂
