This holiday season has been a different one for sure. But even so-that merry and bright is popping up everywhere and Christmas cheer is abundant.
Last week, I had plans to be at the beautiful Hammersky Vineyards farmhouse for a festive celebration of the season with the Balsam Hill Hammersky Farmhouse Event and book signing for Inspired Gatherings.
You might remember that Hammersky made an appearance in my book– it is one of my favorite barn settings and vineyard views in the pages. We had a book signing planned for earlier this year- but of course, all the book signings and celebrations were sidelined with everything going on. So we moved it the holidays for the event hoping that things would be back to business as usual by then.
But of course, we are all doing the same thing even now. But before California was going to be locked down again- we hauled out the Balsam Hill boxes and brought a few new decor additions as well because the farmhouse deserved to have a bit of Christmas magic so the guests staying at the winery could enjoy it.
It was a quick trip and most of the photos I got were late evening or early morning before the sun was up- but I wanted to share just how welcoming it turned out.
Here is a peek at how that Balsam Hill magic decked the farmhouse halls.
We used the Farmhouse Christmas ornaments for a Farmhouse theme. I also brought some extra pinecone and berry picks to add a bit of rustic charm to the tree as well.
In the kitchen- simple and sweet snowy trees and a bowl of ornaments on the island
And a bit of of a softer side look in the kitchen dining area.
The stairs were dressed in pretty garland with berries and mixed foliage.
And a wee tree upstairs was perfect a little sprinkle of Christmas cheer.
