I teased the first Christmas tree share of the season a few weeks ago on instagram and so many of you were asking to see it in full. And yes… I know it is pumpkin season yet. I have a porch full of stacks of heirloom pumpkins and mums. But inside? Well, there are already 3 trees twinkling away. And this very merry vintage Christmas tree might be an all time favorite. So even though it isn’t officially twinkling tree season, I decided why not embrace the magic in the mingle of the seasons even more so this year and am showing you the first look at this vintage ornament inspired tree below with a video. A Very Merry Vintage Christmas Tree
It is no secret that I love vintage ornaments and a tree decorated with an abundance of them. If you have been following me on social or have a copy of my Christmas Book– you know how many vintage ornament covered trees I included in the pages. I have been bringing home boxes and boxes of vintage ornaments for years and so, when I decide to go a little vintage crazy, I have all kinds of bins and boxes to sort through to find the perfect colors and ornaments.
Of course, if you would like to get the look but don’t want to run around looking for vintage ornaments, you can also find some beautiful new ‘vintage’ style ornaments that will dazzle just as much. A tip would be to stay with glass ornaments for a more authentic gleam. But I will be honest, I probably break a couple dozen glass ornaments every year, so, if you are like me, the plastic versions of vintage ornaments will bounce better and last longer.
