Favorite Festive Cake
Perfect for the 4th with those bold red, white and blues- this is one of my favorites and creating a cake that looks festive And is delicious is always a good idea. This cake is from my 1st book French Country Cottage. And the best part- you don’t have to bake to create this. Simply take a pre-made bakery cake and top it with raspberries, blackberries blueberries, strawberries, etc. and add a few sprigs of rosemary for a finishing touch. Mini roses are optional of course.

20 Minute Decorating Ideas for the 4th

For an easy festive 4th display, place those tiny flags from the $ store in vases or tea kettles and create a centerpiece on a table, set them on a sideboard or fireplace mantel and simply enjoy anywhere you would like something with a pop of red, white and blue.
