A snowy tree covered in all the glistening, glittery, ice drop details- perfect for a winter wonderland moment. Today I am sharing a beautiful frosted Christmas tree and how to get the look.

Frosted Christmas Tree
You know, I had a wild hair with this tree. It all started with a snowy flocked tree but with extra lights, lots of glittery goodness and icy drops- it became a winter wonderland moment. The best part about this tree- I only used a couple of things to decorate it. Let’s jump on in and take a closer look.

Glittered Picks

Beyond lovely and oh so glam- after adding some of those string lights for an extra oomph- the glittered picks placed on the branches brought this tree to extra level elegance. They catch the light and reflect it even more and they are just beautiful.
Tip: Layers of glittery picks add layers of glimmering charm. Use full size picks on larger branches and pull apart into smaller sections for smaller branches for an overall effect.
Crystals Galore

The next step was crystal drop picks. These are beyond beautiful and add such a lovely look- almost like icicles dripping from the branches.

I also added crystal garland that drape from branch to branch adding another layer of icy beauty.

Tip: Use drippy crystal picks than drape from the branches and create an ‘icicle’ effect for a whole lot of winter wonderland charm. Then layer crystal garlands for even more magic. The key is to combine those icy elements to really add pizzaz to your tree.
Pearl Baubles

I decided to use just a few pearly white baubles with blush velvet ties and called it good.
Tip: When you have a lot going on with glittery picks and crystals- you don’t need a whole lot of ornaments. Just a few simple ones with velvet ties adds a sweet touch without overwhelming the overall look.

Underneath the tree, a vintage crochet tablecloth is a lovely nostalgic touch.
Tip: Keep it simple under the tree and add a touch of nostalgia with a vintage crochet cloth. You can use a quilt, scrap of fabric or a traditional tree skirt of course- just go with what speaks to you.

I love this tree it has a glam look but not so much so that you feel it is too much. If this is our start I can’t wait for more.

That tree is dreamy, sparkly and magical!
I LoLove sparkly at Christmas. My my main tree is done in pink and silver each year and I add items as I need in between the branches to fill out any bare spots. I have some antique handkerchiefs that I’ve made some floral arrangements and stick those into bare spots and use an old embroidered tablecloth as my tree skirt. I love your crystal icy tree!
