Oh how I love sugared fruits for Christmas decor. From those old school crystal covered fruit ornaments to the new vintage reproductions that give the same feeling- there is just something so charming and sweet about a sugar frosted fruit Christmas display. And today, it is all about a sugared fruit Christmas front door decor.

Christmas Front Door Decor
Of course, when it comes to decking the halls- the front door is always on the list. It is the first thing that greets visitors when they arrive and it is a fun place to create a personal look that gives guests a peek at what might be behind the door. Whether that is bold and beautiful traditional Christmas- or something a little on the softer side. For this look it is all about sugared fruit foliage.

Sugared Fruit Christmas Front Door
Isn’t this the sweetest foliage? I adore this garland and wreath. It has the perfect touch of red- but not too bold since it is sugar sprinkled. And it also has an abundance of mixed foliage that is absolutely charming.
Sugared Fruit Christmas Garlands around the door
Creating this look is simple- it is just 2 things. The first- garlands draped around the front door. I used 3 garlands to create this- one on each side and one across the top that draped down and added some more fullness. You can of course, use just one or 2 or whatever you would like and achieve a similar look.

Pop of Pretty Sugared Fruit Christmas Wreath
The wreath is such a sweet one- I didn’t need to add anything at all. But I decided to tuck in a blush ribbon along with some vintage brass bells for a little ‘jingle’ every time the door opens.

Fresh Cedar Clippings
I might have mentioned that we had to have another 3 big old growth trees cut down before winter winds and weather moves in. It is honestly a bit sad – they were some of my favorite trees and must’ve been probably at least 200 years old and are now gone. So at the moment we have a whole lot of mess in the yard and a whole lot of cedar clippings. I just added fresh clipped branches inside the barrels to create an abundance of beautiful foliage. I guess it is a way to be able to enjoy those beautiful trees one more time as well.

A touch of sweetness
I also tucked a couple of wee deer by the lanterns on the porch.

A few cedar clippings and pink bows add a sweet touch. Similar pair linked below.

This is just one porch decor look you will see this season – and these garlands will be making another appearance soon. What do you think of this simple & sweet look?
