A little of this and a little of that and a wave of that magic wand creates a most delightful ambiance filled setting. Only thing, I haven’t seen that magic wand recently. So how do you create beautiful mood lighting when your magic wand is on vacation? It is all about mood lighting with layers. And today we are talking about how to do that.
Mood Lighting with Layers
Layers of lovely- that is exactly what mood lighting in layers is. And for this setting- I wanted alll the magic marching down the table. To achieve that mood lighting- I used tall lamps and smaller magic filled orb lighting.
Tip: Layer the lights in your centerpiece at different heights to create ambiance above and below your centerpiece flowers.
These brass lamps are delightful. Not only are they heavy and beautiful- they have 3 different lighting settings so you can find your perfect glow and they really create that mood lighting perfectly. I used 5 of them down the center of this table and offset each one just a bit. Up next it was all about those crystal orb lights.
These orb lamps just feel like they are perfect for fall and using indoors or outdoors for a little extra something.
Tip: Add in some low to the table lighting to for an extra layer of oomph.
Background Ambiance
On the barrels in the background- a couple of golden glistening lanterns are perfect for adding more mood lighting. I also added one to the seating area by the camellia tree for a quiet conversation spot.
Tip: Don’t forget the areas around your gathering when it comes to adding ambiance. Little spots of glimmer in the background is perfection.
Stay tuned for another flower filled look using beautiful moody lighting layers to make the magic.
