Neutral Palette Thanksgiving Table
It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a few days away. I honestly feel like November has zoomed by so quickly- I am not sure where the month went. This week, it is all about holiday inspiration and dining table ideas for entertaining are on the agenda. Today is Day 2 of ideas to style your table for Thanksgiving and Christmas- a neutral palette Thanksgiving table. Sharing this same table with different settings to show how changing just a couple of things brings a whole new look.
I am kind of obsessed with texture and natural elements in decor- and so it makes sense that both of those things would inspire table and tree decorations as well. This table is all about beautiful neutral boho chic colors and details for a nature inspired table.
A pastel backdrop
I used our blush tablecloth for the backdrop for this table. I love how the soft pink plays like a rosy neutral and is maybe considered unexpected for Thanksgiving and Christmas- but not over here of course. Bush is a favorite in holiday decor every year. One of the things I love about these flax linen cloths is that they are tumbled linen and while those crinkles might bother some folks- I don’t mind them at all.
Centerpiece Idea
I used faux white eucalyptus garlands for the centerpiece and then tucked some taper candles and small mercury glass candles in as well. I wanted the look of Lunaria- I wasn’t able to source them but while looking found bleached eucalyptus so gave it a go.
Tip: Don’t be afraid to try a different color or different garland for your centerpiece for a unique look. I love to layer eucalyptus on the table – this eucalyptus is bleached which brings a completely different look and feel.
Place Setting Details
This is a beautiful new collection from my favorite always on repeat over here- Arte Italica. This is their Platinum Vetro collection and it is a beautiful warm silvery color that adds so much elegance to the table.
Evening Glow
In the evening light- the place settings are literally glowing.
Tip: Consider how your table will look in different light and add candles or fairy lights to warm up the tabletop for evenings.
The tree and mantel are decorated with natural elements- will share a closer look at those soon.
