Happy New Year’s Eve friends. I honestly can’t believe it is already NYE and that 2026 is just a few hours away. Between you and me? I can hardly wait for a fresh new year and blank pages to write on.
There are always good and bad with every year as you look back- and 2025 has been a bit of both for sure. But to be honest- 2025 is a year I am feeling more than usually ready to say adios to. I have fully been feeling the end of that 9 year cycle and am really energized and ready to start new in 2026.
New Year’s Eve
I am such a wild one over here with reveling in my creative energy but when it comes to NYE celebrations- I am a home body and will be spending New Year’s Eve at home all cozy in my blanket snugglie doing a bit of reflection and welcoming in 2026.
If you are the opposite type and going out on the town- put on all the sparkly things and have the best time celebrating! And please stay safe.
Reflections
I will save most of my chatter about the year that was and my goals and dreams for the new year for another post. But as I reflect on the year that was, I count my blessings and something that stands out for me as a huge blessing. You. Our French Country Cottage family is so dear to me and you are such a big part of my world everyday. I appreciate all the times you have shown up here, left a comment or simply read my meandering musings and supported me. I am grateful for you. I wanted to say Thank You and wish each of you a blessed and very Happy 2026!
