All random all the time over here on the weekends.
Like garden roses, blush faux fur, pretty linen pillows
travel, musings and much more all wrapped up into one post.
Something happened yesterday that made the day feel completely different.
The sun was streaming in the windows.
There was blue sky
and the sun was warming everything up.
We have had so much rain and so many days of rainy skies
since the first of the year
that we have hardly seen those blue skies and sunshine days in the past month.
And the amount of rain has been record breaking. But… it has been just rain which is a good thing.
It could be record snow like it is up in Tahoe- wholly guacamole they have had a lot of snow.
And all that rain means we are nice and lush green
which is super pretty.
Spring Blooms
Spring will be here before we know it- and along with spring comes those pretty
camellia blooms.
We have a camellia tree in the yard that is absolutely covered with blooms
in the spring- and has already started budding up.
This spring mantel in the cottage was from a few years ago
but is a favorite.
Speaking of spring blooms
This week, another order of beautiful blooms will be arriving.
I am working on a few videos with Balsam Hill that are all about blooming beauties
and I will be sharing behind the scenes peeks and tidbits over on instagram
for a peek at everyday and exclusive shares.
The Castle Winery
Castello di Amorosa is a favorite spot to stop and snap a few photos
when in Calistoga…
not to mention you can go inside that castle for a bit of wine tasting.
We didn’t taste this past week- but will be making a stop again shortly
and I will be sharing a peek at the inside of those castle walls with you.
Blush faux fur & french blue linen
When in HomeGoods… you might come out with a cart full of treasures.
I stopped at HomeGoods last week to pick up a couple of things
and came out with a cart filled with pastel pretties.
My favorites?
Pretty little french blue linen ruffled pillows
and a blush faux fur stool that matches those blush faux fur pillows I found
around Christmas time.
They went perfectly with those pretty garden spray roses when I got home and plopped everything down together.
So perfectly, I had to snap a photo.
I will be sharing a closer look at those HomeGoods finds
and where they landed coming up.
Coming your way tomorrow-
the easiest way to make a naked or rustic cake
and stay tuned this week for
last minute romantic table setting inspirations
a peek behind the scenes from Sonoma
and much more.
Happy random weekend everyone.
I feel as if I've been away on a trip thanks to your dreamy photos.
Love all your postings!
