Welcome to the weekend view. This week has looked a lot like dahlias & blackberries on repeat, family fun and some quiet time working on a few things behind the scenes.
Blackberries
My daughter has been out picking blackberries almost every day for smoothies and snacking and she made a vegan blackberry oatmeal bar last week that was amazing. She is now hired for family dinner dessert duty next week- and is making a blackberry pie for everyone. Jionni shares her love of blackberries as you can see.
Farmers Market Blooms
I have been so enjoying all the beautiful farmers market blooms that have been available recently. Those dahlias and mixed foraged arrangements are talking big time to me. I will share some of the places they have landed next week.
Junking and thrifting
I didn’t get the thrifting treasures blogged last week as planned- but it is on the list for sharing this week so stay tuned. This set of 8 vintage chairs were spotted at a yard sale while on the road. I definitely have a thing for vintage chairs -they tempt me wherever I go. lol.
Wandering
Wandering didn’t take me too many places this week- I wasn’t online too much with a lot of projects happening but I did stop by a few of my favorites.
Love this Trash to Treasure project
This peach burrata crostini looks sooo delicious.
August on the blog is usually fairly quiet- it is a time when I gather up some energy and am working ahead for the autumn and holiday season so I don’t post as much as usual. But I did share a couple of posts last week- so in case you missed it- here is what we shared recently:
Week 3 Meditation- letting go of negative energy
The Story Behind the Cover- French Country Cottage Christmas Book
Happy Weekend everyone.
