Welcome to the weekend view. This week it is all about delightful blooms, autumn, a fun Giveaway and a lake getaway.

A few days at the Lake

We took off on a whim to rejuvenate and log some down time – and we went to a favorite little spot- Donner Lake. Donner is super close to Lake Tahoe which is a lake I grew up spending some time every summer at – but it is much quieter than Tahoe. There are not as many tourists and not as much busy going on- so it is an ideal spot for a few days of quiet time after the summer season. We enjoyed some down time, some hiking and even a little thrifting for a few things for an impromptu photo shoot.

The mornings were foggy and the evenings quite chilly. It definitely had all the autumn vibes going on. While we would have loved to have stayed a week or two in the mountains- my schedule is pretty crazy busy during this time of year so it was a quick trip that was so nice to squeeze in.

Lovely fabric & Treasure

I didn’t mention that I also had picked up a charming little something a few weeks ago- I am obsessed with it and will be photographing it and sharing it with you soon- but for now- can we just take a moment to appreciate this delicious fabric? So pretty!

Market Flowers

A quiet flower moment in the Avion trailer which was being used as a cooler recently. We just shopped the farmers market for a few fresh blooms and you will be seeing those here coming up this week.
