Evening view~ Christmas lights

Christmas tree, candles on bench

One of the most merry things about Christmas in the house
is the abundance of twinkling lights that seem to make every room feel
so much more magical.

So much more  filled with wonder

and so much more Merry.

I am excited to be joining Maison de Pax and a great group of bloggers in sharing
the twinkling lights of Christmas at night.

Because, truly,
those twinkling lights all aglow are such an amazing and beautiful
part of the Christmas season.

Those pretty lights that make you want to curl up on the sofa in the living room
with nothing but the glow of the fire,
 an abundance of candles

and just those fairy lights on the tree
to brighten the room.
Their glow is so warm and inviting.

I have a confession...

Christmas mantel

I love Christmas and I definitely subscribe to the thought that
Christmas should be all through the house.
And I might be a fan of putting up several Christmas trees.
;)

Though...
sometimes they are very simply decorated with just a few baubles
or even just decorated only with twinkly lights.
Because that glow is one of my favorite things.

In my office- one of my favorite trees
a gorgeous white tree with blush ornaments

absolutely glows in  early evening light.

just a peek through the french doors...

This frosted tree is decorated with
golds and whites and twinkling white lights

I love that this tree has so many lights and it casts this
 gorgeous glow across the floor
and one of my favorite things in the evening is to
 snuggle up in the bed
and enjoy the glow of this tree across the room.

The Cottage

If you are new to my blog,
we also have a small guest cottage on our property
and you will find  a few festive twinkling lights
glowing away out there as well.

On the steps,
LED candles light the way to the living room

where a simple and sweet little wispy tree

dotted in sugar sprinkled clear ornaments

glows away.

(you can see the candle ornaments in action
in a video on FB and Instagram if you would like-
I shared it last week so go a few posts back)

In the cottage bedroom

a charming little blue spruce tree dotted with just a few faded ornaments
softly lights the corner.

The merry doesn't stop in the cottage though
step back outdoors and you will find several glowing lights.

From the rock fireplace on the patio

to those little twinkling lights you can see in the background
which is where the fire pit is. An indoor outdoor tree and string lights are perfect.

Those twinkling fairy lights definitely
bring a sprinkling of
Christmas magic, merry &
Bright to our home.

  6. I absolutely ADORE the white tree in your office. I have an addiction to that beautiful blush pink. I have been collecting pastel colored ornaments for years with the dream of a lovely white tree glowing from within a crisp winter's night.
