The Perfect Summer Soiree Table
There are so many wonderful things about summer entertaining. From being able to enjoy al fresco dining, to stories by the fire pit, to casual relaxed gatherings on the lawn- and so much more. I am quite obsessed with entertaining all year long- and setting a pretty table is definitely a favorite thing. And when it comes to the perfect summer soiree table- I am always looking for the easiest ways to enchant guests and make them feel like they had a wonderful evening. Today I am sharing a quick switch on the table to show just how easy it is to customize your table for your occasion.
Foliage on repeat
You might remember the summer table setting I shared a few weeks ago that had florals on the table and overhead and even in the background. Talk about layers of lovely! This table is much the same but with a different foliage but this is also another one of my designs for Balsam Hill and with all faux instead of mixing fresh and faux.
Garlands and more garlands
The foliage I used for this summer soiree table setting is the French Market collection. A single garland is perfect for creating a centerpiece.
Tip: Use premade garlands for a centerpiece and add fresh flowers or candles for a custom look.
Flower Filled Foliage
I also used 2 garlands above the table to create a charming overhead foliage display.
Tip: Attach garland to string lights, a simple overhead stand or hang from a tree or structure to create a foliage filled garden feeling overhead.
Layers on the table
For the layers on the table- I used a vintage crochet lace tablecloth and vintage floral plates to create a charming flower filled setting.
Matte white frosted goblets are thrift store finds and vintage lace hankies are perfect for napkins.
Wine bottle Candle Holders
A couple of simple wine bottles are perfect for using as candle holders. These were so easy to make – I will do a quick tutorial with how to create these if you would like to make them as well.

What a LOVELY TABLE SETTING!! I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT PATTERN THE FLORAL VINTAGE PLATES WITH GOLD EDGING ARE????. . . . AND WHERE CAN YOU PURCHASE THEM?
I was noticing them, too, snd they look a lot like dishes i have that were my mom’s. Woukd the company/manufac be “Warranted?” They were made in the USA and ate 23k gold if im correct.

Seeing balsam hill makes me long for Christmas, but seeing this table setting grounds me back in summer.
