or the the dent from where it unexpectedly fell from the hook on the wall.
well, let me count the ways…
It is almost like with something covered in patina-
you have something covered in
tales and stories.
Every layer of paint. Every chip. Every ding and dent and scuff.
really what I love about that pretty painted patina
is imagining all those stories showing the years.
And that grabs me even more.
and was picked up while meandering the vintage selections
while at High Point Market.
It spoke my language with that soft shabby style.
I also loved the layers of paint showing through
fell for all those dents and dings
and yes, even that grungy old set of straps…
I am one of those who feels like a piece that is well worn and weathered is
really more well loved.
And pretty much instantly
I saw this beauty full of fresh flowers spilling out of it.
Though… to be honest,
for a few photos on the patio
but I am pretty sure you will see this popping up all
over the place from time to time.
What do you think of this little treasure- do you fall for painted patina too?
I will be sharing the new look on the patio and joining several other bloggers sharing their patios as well- so lots of inspiration for upcoming outdoor entertaining coming your way.
along with some stuff that is a little on the housekeeping side.

I have seen people harvesting grapes around here with containers strapped to their backs (usually plastic today–not as heavy). You would go nuts at the local brocantes.
