Beautiful Easy Autumn Floral Arrangement

I am all about all things autumn over here this week. Especially with it being October- it is now officially autumn season. So to celebrate- why not bring together some of my favorite things for an inspired autumn floral arrangement?

Autumn Floral Arrangement

What I used: Dahlias, Garden Roses in 3 colors, dried fern, clipped tree branches.

A little bit gathered, a little bit garden foraged and a couple bunches of flowers from the market- plus a beautiful antique vase that just says ‘autumn magic’ to me. That is how this arrangement came together. My husband brought home some beautiful dahlias and peach roses a few days ago and they kind of kicked off the theme. While I planned to use them for a different setting- I also wanted to play with a pretty bit of autumn today. I wandered the garden and clipped a few roses and also gathered up some foliage. Red leaf branches from the plum tree and dried ferns from the back forty were perfect.

Autumn Floral- Dahlias

I am quite obsessed with dahlias – there are just so many beautiful types and colors to choose from. Usually, I gravitate towards softer colors but sometimes a pop of pretty is exactly perfect. These are a rosy toned raspberry orange color that always speaks to me and I adore their round pom pom shape. I started with those and then moved on to the roses.

Peach, Pink & Lavender Garden Roses

Peach was my original go to for this but I got a wild hair and decided to tuck a few pink and lavender garden roses in as well. I think it definitely makes it feel like a summer/autumn mingle- but since it is in the 90’s here today- I think it works perfectly.

Foliage

Dried ferns, millet and plum branches were perfect for tucking into the flowers in a couple of places to add a lovely fall feeling.

After you get everything arranged- give the flowers a bit of a whoosh to fill in all the areas. See if there are any holes where you can tuck another in and then enjoy.

This size arrangement is perfect as a centerpiece on a round table or even on the island or fireplace mantel for a blooming autumn moment.
