Shades of white.
You wouldn’t think it would be so hard to choose the perfect shade of white
for painting a room, right?
You wouldn’t think it would be so hard to choose the perfect shade of white
for painting a room, right?
But there are so.many.of.them.
White Lily. Cottage White. Summer White.
Winter White. You name it. Which one is THE one? And how do you know?
Friday favorites is all about sharing some of your favorite posts- and this one is something I have been asked about again recently several times- because…
Choosing the right white paint for you and your home is not easy.
But… here is my take on how to choose.
🙂
The other day I was talking to my daughter about needing to choose a color for
a room makeover I am working on.
And she said
‘Another shade of white?
Our house is nothing but shades of white.’
Our house is nothing but shades of white.’
I frowned a bit and said
‘No it’s definitely not only shades of white…
I have color in the house…like…
everywhere.
I have color in the house…like…
everywhere.
Okay… maybe I am not soo colorful in my decor… I will admit that.
But I am a big fan of shades and layers of white and neutrals with a pop of pretty.
🙂
And when it comes to backdrops for those layers- I want it to be perfect.
See what shade of white I ended up choosing in my post here
could you recommend a shade of light grey for open concept kitchen family room with no yellow or green undertones
Oh, whites are not all alike! Yellowish, bluish, one can look great with the rest of the room or just look….off.
Your white living room is so soothing and energizing–that light!–at the same time.

Thank you so much for sharing.
Have a wonderful Saturday,
