As you can imagine
I came back from High Point Market completely inspired by so much
and I have re-decorated every room in my home in my mind already.
I think I literally took around 700 photos while there.
Yes,
obsessed might be a good word to use here…
and I am okay with that.
😉
I was thrilled to be asked to come back to Market to share with you some of what inspired me
Today~ I am sharing some of the beauty that I found at
Gorgeous patina and elegant antique style.
Animal prints, chinoiserie, classic styling and a touch of modern
Yes, please. I love it all.
John Richard Company was a feast for the eyes in High Point.
Some of my favorite pieces of furniture are antiques of course
and if it isn’t an antique- antique style is right up there in fabulousness
in my book.
John Richard was my first stop after arriving in High Point
Around every corner, in each room and vignette- there was so much that caught my eye.
The attention to detail
with carving, gilding, chipping paint and patina on their pieces
Absolutely gorgeous.
There was artwork- florals and pastoral scenes
and so many beautiful antique inspired mirrors and chandeliers
I think I stopped at just about every mirror and chandelier to take a photo
😉 Yes, they were amazing.
Beautiful antique inspired pieces-
like this dainty piece with it’s intricate caning details and distressed paint.
I completely loved these-
they were actually 2 small corner chairs set together to be a settee
Amazing. I have the perfect spot for it in my home.
So, yes, I think I might need them…
and maybe this mirror too. 😉
This chair caught my eye while walking through-
it had a back that was made of aged mirrors.
A bit more modern than what I usually am drawn to
but striking and definitely a conversation piece.
but striking and definitely a conversation piece.
Another beautiful antique inspired mirror- with so many details.
This was one of my favorite vignettes- the striped wall with the gold mirror
the distressed cupboard ~ perfection.
Sigh… details, details.
This was a completely gorgeous reproduction piece of furniture
I have an antique buffet deux corps in my home that looks much like this
and the details on this piece were very authentic.
I loved the pull out writing area and chicken wire detailing.
Always love a vignette that has a little mix with animal print
and gold touches are always perfect in my book.
The gilded ‘branches’ on this bench- amazing.
When we reached the back of the showroom
there was yet another room filled with gorgeous French inspired pieces mixed
with vibrant colors and patterns
Florence de Dampierre line of furnishings was the last stop of the tour
and what a beautiful line it is.
I loved this orange mixed with the steel gray/blue on the chair.
Bold color mixed with antique inspired pieces
florals, artwork, beautiful chinoiserie and florals
I adored so many of her pieces.
Again, details everywhere.
The dainty floral painting, the diminutive carvings on the legs of tables and chairs.
I have been a fan of Florence for years-
and I was so thrilled to meet her in person in the showroom.
We grabbed a quick iphone photo
(Pardon my ‘red-eye’ flight weariness and rainy day hair)
She is so sweet and has a most amazing home and style.
I absolutely love her books and her taste in furniture- it was a treat for me to meet her.
Her collection at John Richard was gorgeous- down to every last well thought detail.
Love the French bed with the blue paired with the plum pillows- delightful!
I completely enjoyed previewing all of the beautiful pieces at John Richard
and yes, I do have quite a few of them on my wish list.
They were absolutely dreamy.
You can find more information about John Richard
and the pieces I have shared and where to find them
Up next~
a few snapshots from a day at High Point Market
for those of you considering going
and then more inspiration coming your way

I was compensated for this post by the High Point Market Authority
but all opinions are my own of course.

Posh! I love it all! But I love your decor just as much-
Linsey
Good Gracious …Just lovely. I would be redecorating too. JUST beautiful
Beautiful pieces, Courtney! I would imagine it is inspiration overload at times. I love everything in that first picture ~ the buffet and the way the mirrors were placed. I'd love to be able to have something like that in our dining area.
Ohhh my goodness… I would come away from there with so many ideas, and so many things on my wish list i wouldn't know what to do first! Whoa…
