I apologize in advance to anyone who will not be able to stop eating this appetizer.
It really is with the best intentions that I share
this amazing deliciousness with you.

It is easy to make.
Gorgeous for presentation
and can we talk about how it tastes?

I know it is going to mean an extra half hour jogging on the trail.
But I can’t stop myself and it is worth it.

Just hand it over and no one will get hurt.

This is one of those things that once you make you will
wonder why you never made it before.
wonder why you never made it before.
We used to love to pick up Brie en Brioche at the market.
Topped with fig and walnuts it was an obsession when warmed up
and that ooey gooey brie was sliced into.

This recipe is similar- but a ton easier than baking bread-
and even better- it is literally a 20 minute start to finish.

Make it, pop it in the oven-
go do your hair and change your outfit three times-

then take it out of the oven, serve and enjoy.
It is perfect for New Years Eve or any time you have a get together.
The only thing- you may need to make more than one.
I made this for Christmas Eve snacking
and literally got one tiny nibble
before everyone jumped in and finished it up.

I made this for Christmas Eve snacking
and literally got one tiny nibble
before everyone jumped in and finished it up.
Here is how to do it:
(recipe adapted from Food.com)
Ingredients:
1 sheet from package of frozen puff pastry, thawed (there are 2 sheets
1 (8 ounce) brie cheese round
1โ4 cup raspberry preserves or your favorite preserves will do
Egg for brushing on top
How to:
Preheat oven to 425 and lightly grease your cookie sheet.
Trust me- you don’t want to skip that step unless you don’t mind serving
this on the cookie sheet or foil.

Place pastry dough on sheet
and unfold and then put the brie cheese in the center of the dough.
and unfold and then put the brie cheese in the center of the dough.
Spoon several tablespoons of preserves on top of the brie
and then wrap the pastry dough around the cheese
one side at a time.
and then wrap the pastry dough around the cheese
one side at a time.
Brush with beaten egg on the top
And bake for around 20 minutes
or until golden brown
or until you can’t stand it any longer.
and then let cool for five minutes before serving for the best results.
Then slice and enjoy!
Again.. and again.. and again…
