I found this table and two chair set years ago at a second hand store
and dragged ’em home~
They are heavy, old, rusty, crusty iron and I LOVE THEM!!
They had stiff and stained red vinyl on them originally
I found a darling bubblegum pink for them and
they looked oh so charming!
They warmed up our front patio for awhile,
sat out in the garden for a bit,
on the back patio in the corner near the fountain
and are now on my tiny little deck just outside my bedroom.

The pink vinyl was long stained and getting ruined and weathered.
So I searched again for yet another sweet little color.
I found a soft lavender- wasn’t sure I loved it, but decided to try it.

I took the seats off and started re upholstering them.
It took me all of probably 15 minutes… so I ask myself, why did it take me so long to get this project off the list?
Anyway, here are the chairs wearing their new pale lavender seats!
Very cottage adorable!
I think the pale lavender fits in well with their rusty chippy frames.
After putting them up on the deck with the table, I put out a white tablecloth and started thinking cafe..
So, inspired by their charm…
I set the table for breakfast for two~
Flaky croissants with butter or jam

French pressed coffee & a bit of orange juice or cereal if you would like.

I used my beach cottage seashell dishes and mixed in my antique red transfer ware
and silver.

A bit of lavender scent in the air…

and french music in the background…

Coffee anyone?
