This week, the weekend view is all about the garden in bloom & travel adventures.
Garden Blooms
The garden is blooming away at the moment. Our Cecile Brunner rose on the front patio is covered in those beautiful dainty roses. My daughter set up a little reading spot the other day and snapped this photo- I think it looks so beautiful and peaceful.

Blooms in the house
Lots of blooms happening in the house too. I will be sharing more of this simple table with these beautiful faux blooms next week. I love how summer-ish they feel!

Europe
I shared the first of many posts about some of our travels last week and I have lots to share about what we are up to in Europe. For now, it is all about the cappucino’s and how I might have had them everyday in Italy.
Of course, when in Rome as they say… so I did enjoy some gelato, pizza and focaccia even while staying lower carb. I will admit- being low carb and vegetarian while traveling is not the easiest but not sweating it if I indulge just a bit.
We have been surprised by how few tourists we have seen and it has been so enjoyable to explore without fighting the crowds.
Coming your Way
More on what we have been up to in Europe and of course, all the details. I have so much to share and have found so many beautiful villages that I have fallen in love with.
I am having some trouble loading photos here today -the wifi is iffy at best in the countryside but will add them in when it works so you can see a preview. And in case you missed anything this week- you can find the first quick post on the first village in the Umbria area of Italy.
This brihten my mood on this cold as day, and I thank you for that
