Welcome to the Weekend View. This week is all about family, lots of fun with Enzo and welcoming his new baby sister.
Baby Sophie
We are so thrilled to welcome sweet Sophie to our family! Sophie is Enzo’s baby sister and she is an absolute doll and she is our 4th grand baby. We are all so in love with her already!
Fun with Enzo
While Enzo’s mom and dad were having baby sister- we moved on into their place for a couple of days to help with Enzo. We played with all the toys, watched his favorite show Coco several times, drove his car around the neighborhood and took walks to see the bulldozers and tractors several times a day. It was such a special time to be able to spend with him one on one. We stayed overnight a couple of nights and I loved being able to cuddle him while he slept just like I used to cuddle my babies when they were little.
Summer Cold season
At the same time we were out of the house for a few days to help with Enzo, my daughter was home arguing with a summer cold. She had it for about a week and a half and then overnight it started to turn into having a hard time breathing and feeling very weak. She would feel better for a day and then feel crappy again and after trying all kinds of remedies and feeling like it was getting worse after a couple of days, she went in to make sure it wasn’t an infection. The urgent care doctor sent her right to the E.R. and after testing her for all the usual culprits they test for now- they said she had pneumonia. It was an early infection thankfully so they rehydrated her, gave her some antibiotics and sent her home. The nurse at the E.R. told them that there has been some pretty strong respiratory bug that has been going around since mid May- which is when her fiancé had a bug and had to go in for it because he thought he was getting bronchitis. He wasn’t and they sent him home with an inhaler and cough medicine and that was it. So we all had no idea it would be anything more than that when my daughter got the bug too. Thankfully, she is starting to feel stronger and feeling much better now.

OH, how sweet she is, and enzo is adorable as well. Congratulations! my husband are trying to get over a summer cold, it went right into my lungs and I am feeling a bit better today. I had the flu shot, rsv shot and a pneumonia shot all in the fall and I have had Influenza B and now this. Oh WELL SO MUCH FOR VACINATIONS. sTAY WELL AND ENJOY THE GRANDKIDS.
