Weekend View

Happy weekend friends.

It has been a minute since I shared a weekend view post – which is all the randomness from the week that was in one post. This week- it is all about family updates, concert fun and thrifting- along with a new series coming your way.

Ryan Bingham Concert

My husband and I meandered on up to Tahoe for a Ryan Bingham concert recently. He was great in concert – if you love his music, you would love seeing him perform, We so enjoyed a quick getaway in the mountains and have another concert coming up that we are looking forward to.

Jiovanni

We have welcomed another new grand baby -sweet little Jiovanni aka Jio. He looks so much like his big brother He is the second new grand baby to join our family this summer- sweet Sophie was born in June and Jio was born in July so they are very close in age. We are feeling so blessed and cuddling and spoiling all 5 of our grand babies as often as we can. Though I would love to share a ton of photos of all the grands- my family is more private and so I only share a snippet when they okay it.

George Henry

We spend time each afternoon sitting with our chickens and there are several of our roos that like to come out into the yard and sit with us. This is George Henry- he is a big fluff ball naked neck silkie rooster and he loves to be held probably as much as I love holding him.

Donner Lake Fun

Last week we planned a little last minute staycation at Donner Lake with our big kids and grand babies. The kids loved throwing rocks in the water and wading in to splash and there is a nice park set right on the shore area where they could play on the structures and swing. We stayed just a couple of nights and had a whole lot of family fun when they came up to join us.

Thrifting Treasures

The thrifting obsession continues over here. We like to stop in and do a little shopping once a week but we don’t always find things. But when we do- it is a good thrifting day. I have been collecting random things for some upcoming celebrations, stylings and some decor changes that I am finally jumping in and working on. And these thrifting days are inspiring a new series here- all about Would you buy it– and showing the Before and how I used it. Stay tuned for the first edition of that this coming week.

Autumn and Halloween Stylings

Oh the fun that is coming with all the seasonal stylings! I am working on adding a bit more autumn to the house and hopefully will be able to share some new looks in the next week or two along with a coupon code for extra savings for you. Incidentally, while we were at Donner lake, I used a halloween bucket for blooms for a photoshoot. So a little mingle of the seasons.

I am also contemplating adding in some clothing outfits posts. I am most often in comfy clothes but have had requests on social for outfit details so thought maybe I would start sharing a bit more of that.
