Welcome to a rainy day Weekend View. This week is all about family, flowers & a sneak peek at some exciting things coming your way this week.
Weekend View Family Fun
Last weekend we hosted a simple Easter lunch & egg hunt for our grand babies.
Juliette, Enzo & Jionni had so much fun finding all the hidden eggs & Sophie & Jio seemed to enjoy watching all the busy. We are so grateful to have our big kids and grand babies so close and be able to soak up all these moments. Such a blessing and so much joy in making memories like these.

Side note- As you can see- Jio has a full head of big, tall hair already and it is amazing. It looks like there is product in it to stand it up- but it is literally just how his hair styles itself.
Garden Additions
We headed to the garden shops to see what kind of blooming beauty was happening already and we found some amazing delphinium and foxgloves. You know I am a big sucker for those tall cottage garden blooms so they went right in the cart. We have a bit of a rainy storm this weekend so we tucked them into the potting shed to keep them from being damaged in the wind but they will be going into the garden this week. Stay tuned for a little garden tour as everything starts blooming away.

Vintage John Deere Green
I have always loved vintage greens in all the shades. And that lovely old vintage green patina is a favorite. I found the most charming vintage treasures last week and they are wearing a delicious John Deere Green color. I will be sharing all about them in our Trash or Treasure post this week.
Something exciting
I have been hinting at a couple of exciting things coming your way – and this week is the week! Stay tuned for some fun news that *might* have something to do with blooming beauty and little moments like this.

Moments of Joy

I am adding a new little snippet to the weekend view post- about simple moments of joy from the week that was. Maybe it is a moment of reflection, or a conversation or just a little something that stood out and brought a smile or magic. Last week, it was about a campfire coffee moment in the garden. We love to sit in the garden with coffee in the morning- it is one of my favorite ways to start the day. And last week, one morning there was a bit of a chill in the air with the stormy weather moving in. So my husband decided to build a small fire to warm us up. It felt like we were tucked away in the wilderness camping as we sat there sipping coffee and chatting about the garden and the plans for the day. It was a little moment of unexpected joy that I thought I would share here too.
Happy Sunday friends.
