This week the Weekend View is all about family fun, book signings and more.
Family Fun
We babysat Enzo and Sophie last week while their parents went on a lunch date. We had fun playing with all the toys, reading the books, splashing in the water and taking them for a little treat.

We also got together with our big kids and the grand babies for our usual family day of cousin fun and catching up. The boys are wild and crazy together-and since the heat was a bit over the top in the 100’s we mostly stayed indoors. They dressed up as spidey and had fun riding their scooters and push toys down the hall while Juliette, Sophie and Jio enjoyed stacking magnetic blocks and reading books

Behind the Scenes
Even though the heat has been heating everyone up- we are thinking cooler temperatures and have been working on several fun things behind the scenes recently- and most recently, it is involving autumn. Stay tuned for some peeks at what we are putting together and more coming your way soon.
Book Signings
We have several fun book signings planned for September – and we are working to finalize a few more. Today sharing more about one in San Diego, CA- we are joining our friends at Vignettes and helping them celebrate 30 years at their shop. I will be there signing books on September 20th from 1-3 pm and would love to say hello if you are local! We also have book signing coming up in Martinez, CA and we are working on some fun stuff in Tennessee and Texas as well. Stay tuned!

Choosing Paint
I am also working on a big painting project for a piece of furniture that I will be sharing more about soon. For now, it is all about choosing colors. I have already tried several shades of white and this beautiful barely blushing shade as well. I will keep you posted on the winner. Question for you- if you were thinking something celebration/bridal/event-ish that needed paint- would. you stick with basic crisp white, go with an antique white or something else in the neutral color family?

Happy weekend friends.
Definitely “off white.” Stark White on photos, imo, only works on b/w photos. franki
I like the cabinet behind your boquet of roses in the white vase. It looks like Foggy Morning with white chipiness over it. Can you paint your piece of furniture with a distressed look or some white accents? My choice is Foggy Morning if you are choosing just one color.
I just love a baby pink with soft WhitEwashed FINISH with Peridot Knobs
Antique white or a blush of pink which can be so soft and pretty
foggy morning would also be my choice. Jackie from Canada
😍☺️With family fun, i think who thought up the magnetic blocks is a genious. My GRANDKIDS love them. From 🇦🇺
all those colors are lovely. my choice would be antique white. I always love something old with a little chipping, where the white has become a vintage shade.
