Welcome to the weekend view. This week was a bit of a mixed bag- from all kinds of family fun to all kinds of work fun and something exciting.
Family Day Fun
Cousins doing some butterfly watching and having a very important conversation about all the butterfly things like not to touch their wings- these sweet babies were enjoying all the fun with nature watching. It was hot hot hot around 100 out and so, lots of pool time and fun in the sprinkler for the kids. Enzo and Jionni had a blast throwing the ball into the water and splashing each other.
And the wee ones enjoyed snacking on all the watermelon and popsicles to stay cool.
Birthday Week
It was my birthday week last week and I was definitely spoiled with flowers, keto friendly sweets and much enjoyed down time. I went out for my usual birthday run and enjoyed chilling a bit with my chickens and doing some thrifting. We usually head to the beach for a couple of days for my birthday but my schedule is a tad wild currently so we are planning some fun a little later in September. Something Exciting
My son and daughter in law just announced that their 3rd baby (our grand baby #6) is on the way!! We are all so excited and can’t wait for another new little one to join our family! They are going to wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl this time so we will all be surprised when baby arrives. ❤️
Work Fun
I caught up on some work this week and notched a couple things off my to-do list. I have a busy couple of weeks coming up and so working ahead is something that makes my busy schedule times easier. Work fun this week involved all those birthday blooms- and you know flowers are always inspiring for me.

I’ve been trying to purchase a Marcel Meadow garland. do you have any idea when Blossom Hill might carry that again? I have called them and asked that question but they never got back with me.
